Question by SBSP:

What is the average amount of languages that people can speak around the world?

I.E I speak 2 languages fluently.

Do most people speak 2 languages ?
English is my second language, but i speak English the most.
And Afrikaans my second which is close to dutch.

I can also speak a Zule a littlebit but it does not count.

And i would say almost everyone in my country can speak more than one language fluently.
English and some other language, (But then again i have to mention that our country has 11 official languages)

I'd say 2. Since there are many many countries where the official language isn't the language spoken by the majority (since the majority is divided into groups that speak other languages for example).
Or because of the economic globalisation where at least two languages are needed to work, to study and communicate...etc.
