Can I use The Princeton Review guides to study for a course I’m taking next year?

Question by Ryan Platt: Can I use The Princeton Review guides to study for a course I'm taking next year?

I'm studying for AP world and with this textbook I've only gotten as far as ~1000AD. I need a faster and more efficient way to study than this, and I thought maybe the AP exam guides could help.

I'm concerned about PASSING this course because of my extracurricular activities gnawing the study time I would need for a first timer. Does this book contain the vital info to study the course?

I READ my HUGE AP world history book, throughout the year. The teacher breaks it down into digestable parts-- if you can't do the readings, drop the class. (You'll have to grow up and do readings in college anyways, may as well get used to it now). Every single person in my class (but me) was like you, and didn't read it. They tried using princeton review-- they got mostly 1s and a couple 2s. I love Princeton Review, but I also READ the book. I got a 4.

This years' class tried to pull off the same thing (the ones who took AP world)... they all failed the exam.

That year I ran track, volunteered at my local boys and girls club, and also was a part of a teen court system which involved me taking on real trials in which I had to defend or prosecute... tell me I didn't have extracurriculars.
