Will mystery snails eliminate mollies extra food at the bottom of the tank and their waste?

I have a 20 gallon tank with 12 mollies in it and they poop a lot and i was wondering if a mystery snail will take care of the extra food and my other problem the poop. Thanks a lot for answering!

Snails don't eat poop. They will eat excess food but that's easy to take care of by not overfeeding. Snails create more poop.

12 mollies is about 6 too many for a 20 gallon tank which would be the biggest reason you have excess poop.
