Why do conservatives always say that funding the United Nations is a worthless cause?
The United Nations promotes peace and unity among all nations! Unfortunately, most of these nations have very little cash to their names and they rely on rich countries, like the United States, to fund and sponsor the organization. The UN promotes equality and is against racism of all forms. Could this be the reason conservatives oppose everything the United Nations stands for? Why do they think the United States should make its own decisions without first petitioning the worldwide consortium for permission first?

Promotes peace? Well that's worked real well for the last 50 years hasn't it. We complain because we give most of the money and most of the troops for no improvement. One example the Korean War. Country is still divided. Example 2 Somalia. Lot of good that did
