Question by Karen W:
what do you think of museums and the presentation of the artefacts?
I recently visited the museum of london and thought that the use of film, interactive things and recreations of houses was great. Do you think museums should have more of these? would we learn more if they did? Also, is there enough informaton in museums about the artefacts?

I think there there should be more interactive things in museums. It's a great way to get to know the subject. An example is a bug museum I went to having a little area where we could see through the eyes of a fly.
I don't think photography should be allowed around more delicate artifacts and artwork. It could damage the pigments that give the item color or maybe even cause a slow breakdown of the structure of the items.
The use of films is a great way to enhance an experience but I don't think anything can replace actually being close to the items in museums.
